Aaron Lynch Dies Two Weeks after Jacksonville Pedestrian Accident on South Jackson Street

Jacksonville, Texas (May 27, 2022) – A 76-year-old man succumbed to the injuries he had sustained after being hit by a vehicle on May 12 in Jacksonville. The deceased has been identified as Aaron Arlon Lynch of Jacksonville.

At about 1:32 p.m. Thursday, May 12, Lynch was trying to cross the 1600 block of South Jackson Street when he stepped into the northbound lane of traffic and was hit by a Ford truck.

Lynch was transported to CHRISTUS Mother Frances Jacksonville in critical condition and was later airlifted to Tyler, where he recently succumbed to his injuries.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
