Abigail Rueda Critically Injured in Odessa Two-Vehicle Crash on East 7th Street

Odessa, Texas (October 23, 2020) – Two people were critically injured in a head-on collision Thursday evening in Odessa, according to police.

The crash happened just after 6:00 p.m., October 22, in the 1300 block of East 7th Street.

Police said Abigail Rueda, 26, was driving a red Lincoln MKX eastbound in the westbound lanes at a high rate of speed when she crashed head-on into a westbound blue Chevrolet 1500 driven by Domenic Sanchez, 35.

Both Sanchez and Rueda were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
