1 Dies in Harris County Motorcycle Crash on FM 1960
Harris County, Texas (November 12, 2017) – Authorities said that a collision involving two vehicles in Harris County on Sunday left one person dead.
The fatal crash occurred at about 10 p.m. Sunday, November 12, on FM 1960 near Foxbrick.
According to witnesses, a motorcyclist was seen traveling at a higher rate of speed approximately 100 miles per hour while passing vehicles on FM 1960 near Foxbrick. The rider slammed into the rear of a pick-up truck which was going at a slower rate of speed.
The impact of the crash caused debris to be scattered across the roadway, authorities said.
One person died following the collision and luckily, four occupants of the pickup truck walked out unhurt.
No further information regarding the crash was immediately available.
An investigation into the deadly collision remained underway.
