1 Dead in 3-Vehicle Crash on Veterans Memorial Drive in Houston

38-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Car Crash on Veterans Memorial Drive
Houston, Texas (January 4, 2018) – A person was killed last week Friday in a traffic crash in Houston, police said.
The deadly wreck took place at around 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 28 in the 9300 block of Veterans Memorial Drive.
According to the police, a maroon Volkswagen Passat was heading northbound on Veterans Memorial Drive when its driver failed to control his speed and rear-ended a grey Infiniti QX60.
The Infiniti was then forced into the rear of a white Chrysler 300.
A 38-year-old man, who was the driver of the Passat, was taken to a local area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. His name has not been released pending identification and notification of his relatives.
The drivers of the other two vehicles were not hurt.
Investigators believed that the deceased suffered a medical episode just before the accident. An investigation into the crash is underway.
