One Injured in Brownsville Multi-Vehicle Crash near Gateway International Bridge
Brownsville, Texas – One person was injured on Friday after a car chase ended in a multi-vehicle crash in Brownsville, according to the Texas DPS.
The crash occurred on May 3, near the Gateway International Bridge.
DPS said Cameron County Sheriff’s Office and Border Patrol initiated a pursuit involving a 2018 Volkswagen, occupied by a male driver and a female passenger.
The Volkswagen crashed into a gray Frontier occupied by a male driver, rear-ended another vehicle, and crashed into a parked car.
The female in the Volkswagen was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
No other details were provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
