Austin, TX – One person was killed and two were injured after two vehicles collided on Research Boulevard in Austin early Thursday morning, according to a social media post by Austin Travis County EMS (ATCEMS).
The fatal collision happened at about 1:12 a.m. at 11800 Research Boulevard.
ATCEMS crews and Austin Fire officers responded to the scene and located two vehicles and three patients, with one person trapped in the wreckage.

As per the report, one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two adult patients were transported to St. David’s Round Rock. One of the patients had critical, life-threatening injuries and the other had potentially serious injuries, as per the ATCEMS post.
No additional details regarding the crash were provided.
