Fort Worth, TX – One person was killed and three were injured in a traffic collision involving three passenger vehicles and a semi-truck on Interstate 20 Tuesday night, according to Fort Worth Police.
The deadly multi-vehicle accident happened at about 7:40 p.m. on November 12 on I-20 near Hemphill Street in south Fort Worth.
According to the police, an initial investigation revealed that an 18-wheeler was stopped on the freeway because of traffic congestion, leading to a chain reaction.
The police said one of the drivers whose vehicle was rear-ended was killed in the incident Three other people were injured in the collision.
The identity of the deceased was withheld pending notification of their next of kin.
The westbound lanes of I-20 were shut down at Hemphill following the collision.
