1 Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash at North Buckner Boulevard and Chenault Street in Dallas

Dallas, Texas – One person was killed Friday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash in Far East Dallas, according to the Dallas Police Department.

The fatal crash happened just after 2:30 p.m., May 31, at the intersection of North Buckner Boulevard and Chenault Street.

Police said a truck failed to yield at the intersection and hit the driver’s side of a car that was traveling on Chenault and was trying to turn left onto Buckner.

The car then hit another vehicle.

The traffic light at the intersection was not operating at the time of the crash.

The car driver was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

A passenger in the car was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The truck driver, 36-year-old Jonathan Davis, was treated at the scene and was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

The crash remains under investigation.
