2 Injured in Bus Accident at Interstate 35 and Loop 363 in Temple

2 Hospitalized after Temple Bus Crash at Interstate 35 and Loop 363
Temple, Texas (February 26, 2019) – Two people were injured Sunday evening in a traffic accident involving a charter bus in Temple, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The wreck occurred at about 5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 24 on Interstate 35, just north of the Loop 363 North.
According to the Texas DPS report, a Burleson man was driving a Gene’s Bus Charters on Interstate 35 when it appeared traffic on the interstate slowed. The driver of the bus failed to brake in time, resulting in a collision which ultimately involved the bus, a car that was in front of him, and three other vehicles.
Two people sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals.
The crash remains under investigation.
