The deadly accident happened around 8:45 p.m. in the 6800 block of E US Highway 290 westbound, according to ATCEMS.

Austin, TX – Two people are dead following a traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian on US Highway 290

The deadly accident happened around 8:45 p.m. in the 6800 block of E US Highway 290 westbound, according to ATCEMS. 

ATCEMS Medics responded to the scene after receiving reports of a motorcycle hitting a pedestrian.

On arrival, the medics found two adults with critical, life-threatening injuries.

The two adults were declared dead at the scene by the EMS medics at about 9:18 p.m.

Drivers were advised to expect delays in the area.

No additional information was provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
