35-Year-Old Critically Injured in San Antonio Motorcycle Accident on Applewhite Road
San Antonio, Texas – A 35-year-old motorcyclist was critically injured Friday evening in a crash with a semi-truck in San Antonio’s South Side, according to the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD).
The crash happened around 8:00 p.m., May 3, in the 13600 block of Applewhite Road.
SAPD said a semi-truck was traveling northbound in the second lane and was attempting to make a right turn into a shipping warehouse. The motorcyclist was traveling northbound and was attempting to pass the semi-truck on the right side when they collided with the semi-truck.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital in critical condition. They were wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The police are investigating the crash.
