37-Year-Old Man Injured in San Antonio Bicycle Accident on Culebra Road
San Antonio, Texas – A 37-year-old man was injured Thursday night in a bicycle crash in San Antonio’s West Side, according to the police.
The accident happened around 10:40 p.m., January 18, in the 2100 block of Culebra Road not far from Wilson Boulevard and Woodlawn Lake.
Police said the man was riding his bicycle and was going full speed when he was struck by a truck while trying to cross the road.
The man was taken to a local hospital and is expected to recover.
The truck driver stopped and rendered aid.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
