37-Year-Old Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on South Freeway in Houston
Houston, Texas – A 37-year-old woman was killed Thursday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.
The deadly accident occurred around 7:20 p.m., June 20, in the 8500 block of South Freeway (South State Highway 288).
Police said a white Isuzu FTR toll road work truck was traveling northbound in the toll lanes and stopped to remove debris from the roadway when it was rear-ended by a Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck.
The Chevrolet driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.
The Isuzu driver was uninjured in the crash.
The police are investigating the crash.
