Man Fatally Injured in Leeland Street Pedestrian Crash in Houston
Houston, Texas (February 5, 2018) – A 44-year-old man was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident early Friday afternoon in downtown Houston, according to Houston Police Department.
The crash happened at around 12:15 p.m. Friday, February 2, in the 1000 block of Leeland Street near Main Street.
Police said the man was attempting to cross the road when he was knocked down by a gold Chrysler T&C minivan.
The victim was rushed to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the minivan was at the scene when police arrived and was questioned.
Houston Police are conducting an investigation.
