48-Year-Old Man Dies in Hit-and-Run on Gulf Freeway in Houston
Houston, Texas – The 48-year-old man who was critically injured on May 25 in a hit-and-run accident in Houston has died, according to the Houston Police Department.
The accident happened around 11:25 p.m., May 25, in the 7000 block of Gulf Freeway (South Interstate Highway 45) service road.
According to the police, witnesses said a white or silver sedan was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck the 48-year-old man.
The sedan fled the scene after the accident.
The man was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on June 3. His name has not been released.
