48-Year-Old Woman Killed in Dayton Two-Vehicle Crash at SH 321 and CR 668
Dayton, Texas – A 48-year-old Highlands woman was killed Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Dayton, according to the Dayton Police Department.
The fatal crash occurred around 7:42 a.m., June 17, at the intersection of SH 321 and CR 668.
DPS said a Frontier Waste Solutions driven by Seth Simpkins, 41, of Crosby, Texas, was turning northbound onto SH 321 from CR 668 when it was struck by a Dodge pickup truck that was traveling southbound on SH 321.
The Dodge driver, a 48-year-old woman from Highlands, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the trash truck, Simpkins, and his passenger refused medical treatment at the scene.
The Dayton Police Department is investigating the crash.
