Alyssa Schoeneman Killed, Joshua Koppenol and Alan Hernandez Injured in Bryan Two-Vehicle Crash on OSR
Bryan, Texas – One person was killed and two others were injured Sunday morning in a head-on collision in Bryan, according to the DPS.
The fatal crash happened around 11:20 a.m., March 24, on OSR.
DPS said a 2019 Kia Optima was traveling eastbound, passing in a no-passing zone when it crashed head-on into a westbound 2009 Toyota Corolla.
The Toyota driver, Joshua Koppenol, 22, of Hallettsville, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The passenger in the Toyota, Alyssa Schoeneman, 22, of Hallettsville, was killed in the crash.
The Kia driver, 17-year-old Alan Hernandez, was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
