At Least One Killed in Odessa Car Crash on Interstate 20 at East Loop 338

Odessa, Texas (July 19, 2018) – At least one person was killed Wednesday morning in a traffic collision in Odessa, according to the DPS.
The crash was reported at about 9:30 a.m. July 18, in the westbound lanes of Interstate 20 at East Loop 338.
TxDOT said at least one of the vehicles involved in the crash caught fire after the impact.
DPS said, at least one person died in the crash. The name of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
Both directions of the interstate were closed for several hours as crews cleared the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
