Austin Blackmon ID’d as Man Killed in Odessa Motorcycle Accident Loop 338 and 87th Street
Odessa, Texas (November 30, 2018) – The man who was killed Thursday night in a motorcycle accident north of Odessa has been identified as Austin C. Blackmon, 22, of Odessa, according to the DPS.
The fatal accident occurred just before 7:00 p.m. November 29, on Loop 338 and 87th Street.
DPS said Blackmon was riding a 2016 Kawasaki Motorcycle southbound on Loop 338 while Eduardo Munoz, 42, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe and was in the left turn lane of northbound Loop 338.
Munoz tried to make a turn onto 87th Street when he collided with the motorcycle.
Blackmon died at the scene. Munoz was uninjured in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
