Benny Espinoza Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on SH 359 near Laredo


Laredo, Texas (January 13, 2018) – A fatal two-vehicle crash killed a 29-year-old Mission man on Thursday afternoon near Laredo, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Benny Espinoza died in the collision which took place at around 3 p.m. Thursday, January 11, on State Highway 359.
Police said Espinoza was driving a 2014 Ford Fiesta westbound on State Highway 359 when he crossed the centerline and collided with a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado.

Two occupants of the Chevrolet, Laredo residents, were rushed to a hospital with unknown injuries. One of them was airlifted to a San Antonio hospital.
An investigation into the crash is being conducted.
