Brandon Supple Killed in Crash with Semi-Truck on I-40 near Wildorado in Oldham County

Iowa Man Brandon Supple Killed in Oldham County Crash on Interstate 40

Oldham County, Texas (July 15, 2019) – An Iowa man was killed in a crash involving a big rig on Saturday afternoon near Wildorado in Oldham County, DPS said.

The crash occurred at about 3:15 p.m. Saturday, July 13, on Interstate 40.

DPS said a semi-truck towing a trailer was traveling eastbound on Interstate 40 in the outside lane when the driver began slowing down to pull t o the side and was rear-ended by a pickup truck towing a trailer.

The driver of the pickup, Brandon Supple, 45 of Iowa, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver and passenger in the semi-truck were not injured.

The DPS is investigating the collision.
