Carl Sjogren ID’d as Victim of Swisher County Car Accident on Interstate 27
Swisher County, Texas (November 3, 2018) – The person who was killed Thursday morning in a head-on collision in Swisher County has been identified as Carl Sjogren, according to a local news source.
The fatal crash took place at about 8:00 a.m. Thursday, November 1 on Interstate 27, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
As per the DPS, Marry Lawson was driving southbound on I-27 when she took an exit ramp. As she entered the service road, Sjogren was approaching in the oncoming lane.
Police said Sjogren then failed to yield to the ramp and the two vehicles collided head-on.
Sjogren died at the scene while Lawson suffered major injuries and was taken to Northwest Texas Hospital.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
