Carly Spring Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 35 N in Rockport
Carly Spring was driving a 2013 Cadillac CTS that collided with a 2015 Ford F350 on State Highway 35 N
Rockport, TX – The Rockport Police Department is investigating a deadly two-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a 37-year-old woman on State Highway 35 Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened at about 12:44 p.m. on July 24 in the 4800 block of State Highway 35 N.
According to the police, a 2013 Cadillac CTS was heading northbound on IH-35 when it entered the westbound turn lane at John D. Wendell Road and crossed into the southbound lane where it collided with a 2015 Ford F350.
The F-350 was traveling southbound with a dump trailer. Upon the impact, the trailer jackknifed and collided a second time with the Cadillac.
The driver of the Cadillac sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has been identified as Carly Spring, a 37-year-old resident of Rockport.
No additional details were provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
