Charles Wallace Killed in 4-Car Crash on SH 78 in Fannin County

Fannin County, Texas – A man was killed on Tuesday in a four-vehicle crash in Fannin County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened on June 4, on SH 78.

DPS said two vehicles were stopped in the northbound lane of the highway, waiting to turn left, when a dump truck rear-ended the second vehicle. The impact knocked the vehicle into the southbound lanes where it struck a commercial truck.

The driver of the commercial truck, Charles Wallace, 69 of Bonham, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
