Dallas, Texas (September 14, 2018) – A construction worker died on Thursday in a crash at a construction site in southern Dallas, according to a local news source.
The crash occurred September 13, on I-35E near W. Overton Road, close to the intersection of U.S. Highway 67 and W. Kiest Boulevard
As per the article, a red pickup truck was heading southbound on the highway when it struck the base of a highway sign. Construction crews were attempting to load the sign using a crane onto a big rig.
Police said the metal sign struck and killed one worker. The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
