Daniel Frost Killed in Fort Worth Bicycle Accident at East 1st Street and Beach Street; Rolando Cruz Arrested
Fort Worth, Texas – A bicyclist was killed Saturday morning in a hit-and-run accident in Fort Worth, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.
The deadly accident happened just before 6:00 a.m., May 11, at the intersection of East 1st Street and Beach Street.
Police said Daniel Frost, 49, was riding his bike when he was struck by a vehicle that then left the scene.
Frost was killed in the crash. A GoFundMe was created in support of Frost’s memorial services.
Rolando Cruz, 26, was arrested on Sunday, May 12, in connection to the hit-and-run and was charged with a collision involving death. He was booked into the Tarrant County Jail with a $40,000 bond.
The police are investigating the crash.
