Eric Walz Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on South Pleasant Valley Road
Austin, Texas (May 9, 2019) – A man was killed on Saturday in a pedestrian accident in Austin, a local news source reported.
The accident took place on Saturday, May 4, in the 5400 block of South Pleasant Valley Road.
Video surveillance shows that Eric Walz, 33, exited his car and approached the front of a light brown Scion. The Scion driver accelerated their vehicle and hit Walz.
The Scion driver fled the scene after the accident.
Walz was taken to a local hospital where he died on May 5.
The Scion was later located.
The police are investigating the crash.
