Erica Silvia and Julio Sanchez Killed in Dallas Crash on Interstate 20
Dallas, Texas (September 26, 2018) – Two people were killed Tuesday morning in a wrong-way crash in southern Dallas, according to a local news source.
The crash took place at around 4:00 a.m. September 25, on Interstate 20.
Police said a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck driven by Julio Gonzalez Sanchez, 35, was heading westbound in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 20 when he collided head-on with a Lexus IS250, driven by Erica Silvia, 30.
Silvia died at the scene. Sanchez was taken to a hospital with critical injuries but later succumbed to his injuries.
A third car was hit by the debris from the crash.
An investigation is underway.
