1 Dead and 2 Hospitalized after Mart Car Accident on FM 939 near Thompson Road
Mart, Texas (July 31, 2018) –One person was killed and two other people were hospitalized after a head-on collision in Mart Tuesday morning, according to a local news source.
According to the Department of Public Safety, the fatal crash occurred at about 8:15 a.m. on FM 939, just south of Thompson Road.
The DPS said a GMC Acadia was traveling northbound on FM 939 and a Dodge SUV was heading southbound when one of the vehicles crossed over the center line.
The Dodge driver died at the site of the crash. A man and woman who were riding in the GMC were transported to a Waco hospital with non-life threatening.
No other details were immediately provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
