Firefighter Injured in Bryan Crash on N Sims Avenue near MLK

Bryan, Texas – A firefighter was injured Wednesday evening in a crash involving a Bryan Fire Department vehicle in Bryan, according to officials.

The crash happened around 6:30 p.m., January 3, on N Sims Avenue near MLK.

Officials said the Fire Department vehicle was responding to an emergency call when it was involved in a collision with an SUV.

One firefighter was injured in the crash and was taken to the hospital where they were treated and released.

The condition of the SUV driver was not immediately available.

 The crash remains under investigation.
