Injuries Reported in Beaumont Three-Vehicle Crash on Eastex Freeway near Academy
Beamont, Texas (May 17, 2019) – Injuries were reported in a three-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Beaumont, according to the officials.
The collision took place on Wednesday, May 15, on Eastex Freeway near Academy.
Officials said a vehicle was stalled on the right side of the freeway and a second driver pulled up and attempted to make a U-turn directly in front of the parked car, to help. Both cars were facing each other when a third car which was heading northbound nearly collided head-on with the second car.
Emergency crews said no one sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash.
Northbound Eastex Freeway was shut down following the crash. Traffic was diverted at the Highway 105 exit to the frontage road.
The authorities are investigating the crash.
