Isaac Talamentes Killed in 18-Wheeler Crash on Hwy 211 in San Antonio

San Antonio, Texas – The man who was killed on Monday in an 18-wheeler crash in San Antonio’s far West side has been identified as Isaac Talamentes, 21, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Deputies.

The fatal crash happened around 3:30 p.m., on May 6, on Highway 211 at the intersection of Highway 90 near Mansion Bluffs.

Deputies said Talamentes was driving a small box truck across the northbound and southbound lanes of the highway while an 18-wheeler was traveling northbound and was passing through an intersection.

Talamentes failed to stop for the 18-wheeler at the intersection and was struck by the 18-wheeler.

Talamentes was ejected from the truck and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 18-wheeler driver sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The deputies are investigating the crash.
