Jailon Murphy, Kendrick Edwards Killed in Dallas Crash on Great Trinity Forest Way
Dallas, Texas (June 7, 2019) – A crash allegedly caused by a street-racing incident left two people dead on Thursday afternoon in Dallas, according to a police report.
The wreck happened in the 4500 block of Great Trinity Forest Way at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 6.
Police said a Ford Crown Victoria driven by Kendrick Edwards, 29, was involved in a race with a Crown Victoria westbound on Great Trinity Forest Way. In the process, Edwards’ vehicle clipped another vehicle and was pushed into the path of a Dodge Charger driven by Jailon Murphy, 23.
Both Edwards and Murphy were rushed to a hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.
The other Crown Victoria involved in the race failed to stop after the incident.
Police are investigating the incident.
