Karelys Sola Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on SH 195 in Killeen
Killeen, Texas – A 30-year-old woman was killed early Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Killeen, according to the Killeen Police Department.
The fatal crash happened around 5:50 a.m., May 10, in the 12300 block of State Highway 195.
Police said a semi-truck with a trailer was preparing to turn left on the highway from the yield sign at an intersection between the northbound and southbound lanes when it was rear-ended by a black Nissan sedan that was traveling northbound in the inside lane.
The Nissan driver, Karelys Almeda Sola, was taken to the hospital where she later died.
The semi-truck driver was uninjured in the crash.
The police are investigating the crash.
