Kedrick Parker ID’d as Man Killed in Panola County Crash on TX-149 between Beckville and Tatum

Panola County, Texas (June 20, 2018) – The man who was killed Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle collision in Panola County has been identified as Kedrick Tramaine Parker, 34, of Beckville, according to a local news source.
The fatal crash occurred at around 3:00 a.m. on TX-149 between Beckville and Tatum.
As per the report, Parker was driving a pickup truck southbound on TX-149 when he crossed over the center line into the path of a northbound truck-tractor hauling a semi-trailer.
The impact caused the pickup to veered off the roadway and burst into flames.
Parker was declared dead at the scene by Judge Toni Hughes. His body was transported to Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home in Carthage.
The driver of the truck-tractor was taken to the local hospital and was in stable condition.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
