San Antonio, Texas (December 11, 2017) – According to a police report, a woman was killed and two passengers were injured in a crash involving two vehicles on Culebra Road in San Antonio Sunday morning,
The crash took place around 2:35 a.m. Sunday, December 10, in the 6800 block of Culebra Road.
The police report said a green 2003 Chevy Suburban was traveling west on Culebra Road when it crossed over into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a silver Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, driven by Lizette Flores Corona, 29,
As per the report, Corona died at the scene while her two passengers were taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Upon evaluation, it was determined that the Suburban driver was intoxicated. He was arrested on suspicion of DWI and faces charges of intoxication manslaughter and two counts of intoxication assault.
The crash remains under investigation.
