Dallas, Texas (July 20, 2018) – A man was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver early Thursday morning in Dallas, according to the Dallas police.
The incident happened at about 12:02 a.m. Thursday, July 19, in the 3000 block of the LBJ Freeway.
Police said a 19-year-old man had pulled over to assist drivers involved in an earlier crash when he attempted to cross the freeway and was hit by a passing car.
The driver of the car failed to stop after striking the victim.
The man was rushed to Parkland Hospital in critical condition.
The Dallas Police Department is conducting an investigation into the crash.
