Man Killed in Beaumont Motorcycle Collision With Truck on I-10

Beaumont, Texas – A motorcyclist was killed late Friday night after colliding with a commercial truck on Interstate 10 in Beaumont.

The deadly rear-end collision happened just before midnight on December 13 on Interstate 10 East near 11th Street, according to the Beaumont Police Department.

The police said a preliminary investigation showed that a rider was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his motorcycle and rear-ended a commercial truck.

The male rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
