Man Killed Dallas Tow Truck Crash on I-35E

Dallas, Texas (May 6, 2019) – A man was killed by a crash between a tow truck and a car early Monday morning in Dallas, according to the authorities.
The deadly wreck happened around 2:30 a.m. on I-35E near Empire Central Drive.
According to the report, a 46-year-old man was operating a Tow Jam truck southbound on I-35E when he, for unknown reasons, slammed into the rear of a Nissan Altima. The impact caused the Nissan to hit a concrete wall while the tow truck left the roadway, struck the guardrail and crashed into a tree on the side of the feeder road.
The tow truck driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The Nissan driver was transported to parkland Memorial Hospital.
The authorities are working to determine the cause of the crash.
