Multiple Injured in Robertson County Four-Vehicle Crash on Highway 79
Robertson County, Texas – Multiple people were injured Sunday afternoon in a four-vehicle crash in Robertson County, according to the Texas DPS.
The crash happened around 3:10 p.m., March 3, on Highway 79 near the Brazos River.
DPS said a 2015 Dodge Ram 3500, a 2015 Kia Sorento, and a 2020 Kia Soul were traveling southwest while a 2018 Ford F350 towing a trailer was traveling northeast.
The Ford developed a problem with the trailer and it crossed into the southbound lanes where the Dodge, the 2015 Kia, and the 2020 Kia struck the trailer as they crested the hill.
The driver and passengers in the Dodge were transported to CHI St. Joseph Regional Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries. The driver and passengers in the 2020 Kia were transported to CHI St. Joseph Regional Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
