One Dead in Wrong-Way Crash on I-10 in San Antonio

Wrong-Way Driver Killed in San Antonio Big Rig Crash on I-10 near Martin Luther King Drive
San Antonio, Texas (November 4, 2018) – A wrong-way driver was killed early Sunday morning in a head-on collision on a freeway in San Antonio, according to a local news release.
The fatal crash was reported at about 3:30 a.m. on I-10 near Martin Luther King Drive.
San Antonio police said the wrong-way driver was heading westbound in the eastbound lanes of the freeway when they collided head-on with an 18-wheeler.
The impact caused the big rig to catch fire.
The wrong-way driver died at the scene.
The big rig driver suffered a few cuts and bruises.
The crash closed both directions of the freeway for several hours. The lanes have since reopened.
The police are investigating the crash.
