1 Injured in Jackson Heights Two-Vehicle Crash near FM 2767 and FM 2908

Jackson Heights, Texas (July 21, 2018) – A driver was injured Friday evening in a head-on collision in Jackson Heights, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The collision occurred at about 5:00 p.m. July 20, near the intersection of FM 2767 and FM 2908.
DPS said an 18-wheeler was heading southbound on FM 2908 when it collided head-on with a westbound pickup truck.
Firefighters from Jackson Heights, Chapel Hill, and Winona responded to the scene.
The driver of the pickup was injured and was taken to a Tyler hospital. The condition of a child who was in the pickup was not disclosed.
The pickup sustained severe damage, and it completely lost a front tyre.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
