Person Hospitalized after Taylor County Pedestrian Crash on County Road 287 near FM 1235

Taylor County, Texas (December 8, 2018) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a hit-and-run accident on Thursday evening in Taylor County, according to the DPS.
The incident occurred at about 5:56 p.m. December 6 on County Road 287 near FM 1235.
According to the report, a white Pontiac SUV or a minivan was northbound on County Road 287 when it hit a vehicle and struck a pedestrian. The driver failed to stop at the scene and continued traveling northbound.
The pedestrian was hospitalized with unknown injuries at Hendrick Medical Center.
The DPS is searching for the hit-and-run driver.
