Pedestrian Injured in Hit-And-Run Crash on El Paseo Road in Las Cruces, October 19

Man Hospitalized after Las Cruces Pedestrian Accident on El Paseo Road

Las Cruces, Texas (October 24, 2019) – A man was hospitalized after being hit by three drivers, two of whom fled the scene after the incident on Saturday evening in Las Cruces, police said.
The accident took place at around 5 p.m. October 19 in the 1400 block of El Paseo Road.
According to the Las Cruces Police Department, a 67-year-old man was attempting to cross the street when he was struck by three vehicles. A Hyundai sedan involved in the crash remained at the scene but a white Suv and a light colored Ford F1-150 pickup truck fled the scene northbound on El Paseo Road.
The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Mountain View Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The police are searching for the hit-and-run drivers.
