Waxahachie, Texas (December 1, 2017) – A woman was seriously injured after being struck by a pickup truck on East Marvin Avenue Monday afternoon, according to Waxahachie Fire Department.
The woman was hit near the intersection of East Marvin Avenue and College Street at about 1:45 p.m. on Monday, November 27.
The woman was attempting to cross the street to give an account of another accident between two vehicles that had occurred earlier at around 1:30 p.m.
The woman was struck by a pickup truck that was turning right onto East Marvin Avenue from College Street.
The woman suffered serious injuries and was flown to Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
One of the people involved in the earlier crash was transported by ambulance to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center
Waxahachie Police Department is investigating the crash.
