Man Critically Injured in Harris County Hit-and-Run Accident at Veterans Memorial Drive and Blackpool Place
Harris County, Texas (September 1, 2018) – A man was struck and critically injured by a vehicle Friday morning in Harris County, authorities said.
The crash took place at about 12:30 a.m. Friday, August 31 at the intersection of Veterans Memorial Drive and Blackpool Place.
Reportedly, the man was on the road when he was hit by an unidentified vehicle, then left the scene. It was not clear if he was walking along the road or attempting to cross.
EMS took the unidentified man to a local hospital with critical injuries.
Police have yet to locate the motorist involved in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
