Possible Injuries after Travis County Crash on U.S. 183 near FM 973
Travis County, Texas (December 19, 2018) – Authorities are investigating a traffic accident involving six vehicles that occurred Tuesday morning in Travis County, according to a local news source.
The crash, which was reported at around 6:41 a.m. Tuesday, December 18, happened on U.S. 183 near FM 973.
Details are extremely limited at this time, and it’s unknown what caused the crash.
It was not clear whether anyone was injured as result of the crash.
U.S. 183 was shut down in both directions during the investigation. Motorists were urged to seek alternate routes.
As of 8:00 a.m. one southbound lane of U.S. 183 was reopened, but the northbound lanes remain closed. All lanes were reopened at around 9:15 a.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
