San Antonio, Texas (May 18, 2018) – A scooter rider was struck and injured by a hit-and-run driver late Thursday night in San Antonio, according to the San Antonio Police.
The crash was reported shortly after 10:30 p.m. May 17 on North Alamo Street near 3rd Street.
The San Antonio Police said a man in his 40s was riding a scooter when he was struck by a gray pickup truck.
Emergency crews responded to the incident and checked on the victim. The man’s condition was not disclosed.
Police said the driver of the truck fled the scene after the incident.
The San Antonio Police Department is investigating the hit-and-run crash.
