Scooter Rider Injured in Hit-and-Run on East Anderson Lane in NE Austin
Austin, Texas – A scooter rider was injured last week in a hit-and-run accident in northeast Austin, according to the Austin Police Department.
The accident happened around 11:24 a.m., May 20, in the 1000 block of East Anderson Lane, just east of I-35.
Police said a vehicle struck a scooter and then fled the scene.
The scooter rider was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The authorities are looking for the suspect vehicle which was described as a late-model black Chevy or GMC.
