Fort Worth, TX – A man was killed and a woman was hospitalized following a fiery two-vehicle collision on Highway 183 in Fort Worth Friday morning, according to the Fort Worth Fire Department.
The deadly collision happened after 11 a.m. on January 31 in the westbound lanes of Highway 183 near Amon Carter Boulevard.
According to the Fort Worth Fire Department, a truck and a sedan were involved in the collision.

The fire officials said the sedan was traveling in the wrong direction when it collided with the oncoming truck.
According to the police, bystanders noticed smoke coming from the hood of the truck and rushed to pull the female driver out before the truck caught fire.
The woman, in her 40’s was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.
The driver of the sedan, identified as 69-year-old Steven Miller, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No additional information is available at this time. The incident remains under investigation.
